The Outperformers' League is an exclusive forum, where fleet owners interact with other stakeholders in the trucking industry. It provides an opportunity for fleet owners to access first-hand information on crucial business-related aspects and concerns. This was especially true on the 23rd September, 2013. When excited fleet owners attended the latest session of the OPL - Inner Circle in Jamshedpur. 19 people - 13 unique Fleet Owners, including 4 NKAs, and 9 IKAs - attended the session which gave detailed information on the ‘Best practices and challenges in the metal movement’.

For a topic as important as this, it was essential for the session to have an impactful start. Which is exactly what Mr. Saumyabrata Das, Zonal Head (East), MTBL, did. With his heart-felt welcome speech and in-depth OPL presentation, he certainly warmed up the audience for things to come. Esteemed speakers like Mr. Manoranajan Nayak, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Logistics and Ms. N. Sudharani, Airways Logistics Pvt. Ltd. followed and took the stage. Sharing with the eager audience useful tips and insights they could practice.

That the attendees were completely glued in to the session, was obvious when the questions started pouring in. This led to a great discussion between the speakers and attendees. And while it could have gone on and on, the session had to finally come to an end. Mr. Das took to the stage again to summarise the various topics discussed. While Mr. Amrik Singh, Sant Auto gave a warm vote of thanks to all those who attended.

It’s great how Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. is trying to connect with transporters not just by selling vehicles but also with platforms like OPL. Where we get ideas about the latest trends in transport business and how to increase profits.”
  • Uttam Agarwal (S.M. Agarwal & Co): “It’s true that to change the mentality of the transport business is not an easy task. But compared to other manufacturers at least Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. has the courage to do it.”
