Outperformers’ League (OPL) is an influential platform that provides an opportunity to the fleet owners to connect, interact and contribute towards exchange of information with different stakeholders of the trucking industry. The session of the knowledge sharing OPL seminar took place at Hotel GRT located at Vellore on 24th June, 2015. The seminar focused on Cement segment and was attended by 127 customers who included renowned fleet owners, financiers and body builders operating in this segment.

Mr. Balu, Manager-Sales, (Chennai), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. – Truck and Bus Division gave a detailed presentation on OPL explaining the various initiatives and customer benefits associated with OPL.

Mr. Ashish David – Service Manager, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. – Truck and Bus Division gave an overview on their new product Truxo 37 and how it is positioned as compared to the competitors.

Industry Expert, Mr. Raghavan R – Anantara Solutions provided an overview on Cement segment and the challenges faced in transportation

The next speaker for the evening was Mr. P. N. Suresh – Plant Logistics Head, Dalmia Cements. His presentation highlighted the Opportunities for Cement transportation at Ariyalur plant and some of the best practices followed by Dalmia cements for road transportation.

Following him was another expert, Mr. Ranu Arora – Regional Head, Trimble. He highlighted use of technology in cement transportation. He also explained how some of the cement companies are supporting the use of tracking using technology and benefits derived for transporters and cement companies in the long run

Motivational Speaker, Mr. Vijay Batra through his speech encouraged the audience to become great in life rather than just being good. He motivated the audience learn and understand the importance of self belief and outperformance in every aspect of life.

Mr. Raja Gopalan, Sales Head - Rajalakshmi Automobiles (Dealer) concluded the seminar with a vote of thanks.

The powerful TRUXO 37 and Load King were on display for the customers to have a closer look.

The seminar provided an exclusive platform to the various fleet owners to closely interact with other customers, industry experts, officials from the Mahindra team and Dealer team. The speakers were experts, who motivated the audience and also educated them about growing opportunities of cement segment. They were happy to know about the growing business opportunities and technological benefits. The seminar was a remarkable success ending on pleasant customer feedback.
